We are all seekers; we all seek happiness and fulfillment. Some people seek it in the outside reality; the target may be a good marriage, a good job, good finances and success. However, the spiritual seeker changes the direction of inquiry towards her/his own responsibility, power and growth.
A seeker is the individual who has decided to go within, either through pain, though awareness or through destiny. The individual journey of the seeker is personal and based on an inner decision to live under different rules than those imposed by society or the constructed self.
A seeker is born out of an intense transition. The individual is invited to reframe her/his existence and to see reality from another point of view. It is during transitions that the constructed self is challenged and the inner reflection, contemplation and awareness is attracting the person to go within.
The seeker may be born out of pain, where the individual has explored different sources to alleviate discomfort. The search usually finishes when all outside possibilities have been exhausted and the individual realizes that the only real power and wellness is within oneself.
A seeker is a nonconforming individual who sees that reality can be deeper than the appearances in society and that these appearances are defining something that has no substance. A seeker searches for the authentic self and is prepared to give up any unrealness in order to reveal her/his true nature.
The seeker senses a deeper existence and dedicates energy towards its enfoldment. The percentage of energy invested in the search determines the quality and success of the seeker.
The seeker navigates in the paradoxical nature of reality. One is seeking and at the same time surrendering to what is being shown or revealed by nature. One seeks without seeking, finds without expecting and realizes by giving space to what is real.
The real fulfillment of the seeker is to find one’s depth and altitude. The seeker at the end is defined by her/his own infinity and is undefined by the finite world. Being a seeker is being available to the unknown and to pierce what is not real. It is to embody the truth, the freedom and the continuous unfoldment of the self.
